Suspect on loose after alleged sexual assault at Chandler mall

CHANDLER, Ariz. -  A suspect is still on the loose after allegedly sexually assaulting a woman at a Chandler shopping center.

Police say the attack happened at in the parking lot of Chandler Fashion Center near the Harkins movie theater and several restaurants early Saturday morning around 12:45 a.m.

Surveillance video shows a red two-door passenger car with light colored rims or wheel covers. Investigators think it could be the suspect's car.

Police believe the suspect followed the victim to the parking lot.

According to witnesses, he's described as Hispanic, between 5'7" and 5'10" tall with dark hair that is about two or three inches long.

The suspect was wearing a dark, short-sleeved shirt, long pants and dark colored shoes at the time of the assault.

Police hope that more witnesses, or anyone who thinks they know who the suspect is, will come forward.
