Five Minnesota players have helped the USA Revolution Australian rules football team get off to strong start in the 2014 International Cup in Melbourne. The Revolution beat Finland 182-1 in the first game, and added a 51-20 win over Canada on Wednesday.

Friday night, USA faces New Zealand at 9:30 p.m. You can watch matches online at http://www.afl.com.au/global/AFLIC14

“It means a lot to represent your country," USA Revolution and Minnesota Freeze member Andrew Werner said. "It's not the Olympics or the World Cup, but it's the highest pinnacle we can reach as an amateur.”

The 5 Minnesota players made Team USA after training camp in Austin, Texas in April. There are more Minnesota Freeze players on the national team than from any other Aussie rules football club in the nation.
