WARREN, Mich. (WJBK) - Disaster Relief at Work, or DRAW, travels around the country to help storm victims -- but now they are helping some right here at home. The local organization is now helping flood victims around metro Detroit who lost so many of their belongings.

Volunteers are giving buckets of useful cleaning supplies to homeowners in Warren who were affected by the flooding.

Anybody who wants to help as little or as much as possible is welcome.

DRAW is holding an orientation at Warren City Hall Thursday, August 14 at 12 p.m. They'll also gather Friday morning at 8:30 a.m.

DRAW travels all over the country to help those in need. They have helped the victims down south after hurricanes and tropical storms. They have also helped in Joplin, Missouri after the tornadoes.

The nonprofit is based out of Michigan and recently opened up another office down south.
