Teddy 'Bridewater' shirts pulled from Target racks

MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) -

Target's first new Vikings merchandise hit shelves this weekend for fans to don the name of their rookie quarterback and savior Teddy Bridgewater, but unfortunately, they'll have to wait until they're reprinted, unless they'd like to support Teddy "Bridewater."

Citypages caught a photo from Not Jerry Tipton on Twitter, who thought something seemed "a bit off" about the shirts. Well, Not Jerry, you're right; the "g" is missing. Citypages reached out to Target for comment, and the company has requested the shirtseys be removed from the sales floor. They made their way to 70 stores over the weekend, but apparently the error was noticed "right away."

For now, the blushing "Bridewater" is getting ready for his first NFL preseason game this Friday against the Oakland Raiders at TCF Bank Stadium.
