MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) -

The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds flew over downtown Minneapolis at the conclusion of Idina Menzel's singing of the national anthem to kickoff the 2014 MLB All-Star Game on Tuesday.

The Thunderbird flyover featured six F-16 Fighting Falcons in their signature Delta formation over Target Field.

“The MLB All-Star Game is one of the most patriotic events in America, and we’re honored to be a part of it,” said Lt. Col. Greg Moseley, the Thunderbirds commander and lead pilot. “When we fly over that stadium, baseball fans will get a reminder of the precision and teamwork their U.S. Air Force embodies every day.”

The Thunderbird pilots

Thunderbird 1 (Commander/Leader): Lt. Col. Greg Moseley, from Seguin, Texas.

Thunderbird 2 (Left Wing): Maj. Joshua Boudreax, from Covington, La.

Thunderbird 4 (Slot): Maj. Curtis Dougherty, from Downingtown, Pa.
