71-Year-Old Claims To Be Oldest Active Air Guitar Competitor

Posted: Updated:

TORONTO, CANADA- A senior citizen makes an attempt to compete in an air guitar championship in Canada.

71-year-old Bob Wagner is known as Mister Bob.

He took the stage on Thursday, hoping to win a spot at the Canadian national air guitar championships later this summer.

But, despite a high-energy performance, mister Bob failed to make the finals.

He refers to himself as "the oldest-ever active air guitar competitor.''

He's about the same age as the late rock legend Jimi Hendrix would be.

Mister Bob says he can handle his disappointment.

He says you'll never catch him singing the blues.
