COLLEGE PARK, Ga. -

Police have arrested the two suspects who they believe are involved in a shooting that left a College Park father fighting for his life.

The suspects were arrested in Los Angeles, California Thursday and will be extradited back to Georgia to stand trial.

Marquel Dalcoe, 30, is in critical condition and his wounds forced doctors to amputate his leg.

Police believe Dalcoe’s ex-girlfriend and her boyfriend are behind the shooting.

According to police, Shanice Jamila Weaver, 28, and Jonathan Bankston got into an altercation at a gas station on Fayetteville Road. Police say Weaver’s boyfriend went back to the car and Weaver handed her him a gun and he shot at Dalcoe six times.

Investigators say the couple taunted the family and police on social media. Weaver posted her own wanted photo, saying “at least it’s a cute mug shot.” In another explicit post, Weaver referred to herself and her boyfriend as Bonnie and Clyde.
