Frontier Airlines Pilot Orders Pizza For Passengers On Delayed Flight

Posted: Updated:

Cheyenne,Wyo.-For most people being diverted or delayed at the airport is a huge catastrophe, so one pilot decided to make a rain delay a bit more delicious.

Pilot Gerhard Brandner's Frontier flight was sitting on the tarmac for 5 hours on Monday after the D.C. to Denver plane was diverted to Cheyenne, Wyoming.

He decided to do something to pass the time and make his passengers a bit more comfortable.

That’s when he called Domino's Pizza and ordered some treats for everyone sitting in the cabin.

"We take care of each other and I think it's time to take care of my passengers here, so I called Domino's and ordered some pizza. I'm known for that, if you're around me you'll never go hungry," said Brandner.

The 50 pizzas were bought right out of Brandner's own pocket.

The passengers say they've never been happier to travel on an airline.
