CHANHASSEN, Minn. (KMSP) -

Three University of Minnesota seniors are on a mission to prevent cancer and save lives, and on July 9, they’re biking from Chanhassen, Minn. to Naples, Fla. to do it.

One hundred percent of the proceeds raised during the journey go to the American Cancer Society and Touring for a Cure, where sponsorship donations will aid trip expenses to help make the cross-country fundraiser possible - net funds received will go to the ACS.

Zach Zelickson, Nate Schalmo, Aaron Weinard, David Steinman and Kevin Nelson will bike 3,381 miles in 36 days.
