MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) -

There's less than a week remaining until 2014 MLB All-Star activities begin in Minneapolis, but preparations are already underway.

POUR YOUR OWN BEER

Self-serve beer stations are running at Target Field after their Sunday debut -- attendees can pour their own through DraftServ machines. For the All-Star Game, fans can go to a cash register, present an ID and preload a card that has either $10 $20 or $50 on it and choose between 4 beers. Bud and Bud Light cost 38 cents an ounce, and Shock Top Lemon Shandy and Goose Island 312 Urban Pale Ale cost 40 cents an ounce. Patrons can pour up to 48 ounces of beer every 15 minutes. The first station sits along the main concourse on the third-base side, and a second station is expected to be placed on the first-base side.

SPOTLESS SCOREBOARD

Cleaning crews are already on-scene getting the Target Field scoreboard spic and span for the game.

MPD COUNTER-TERRORISM VIDEO

The Minneapolis Police Department is announcing a special initiative Monday and asking community members to help prevent terror attacks during the event.

The Minneapolis Police Department is releasing a “See Something, Say Something” training video in cooperation with the Counterterrorism Education Learning Lab to educate the public on recognizing indicators leading up to acts of crime and terrorism.

Hundreds of police officers are also receiving counterterrorism training. The department is holding a news conference with more details on the video on Monday afternoon at Minneapolis City Hall.

PERKINS, SUZUKI REPRESENT TWINS

Glen Perkins and Kurt Suzuki will represent the Minnesota Twins in the 2014 MLB All-Star Game -- the pair was named to the American League All-Star roster on Sunday night.

TC BEAR HELPS PREP FOR FANFEST

FanFest begins Friday, July 11 and runs up until gameday on July 15. TC Bear will help unload trucks into the Minneapolis Convention Center to prep for the event on Monday. Bert Blyleven, Doug Mientkiewicz, Joe Mauer, Rod Carew, Frank Viola, Tony Oliva and other baseball greats are all scheduled to appear during the event.

Catch the game on July 15, 2014 at 7 p.m. CT on FOX.
