2 Valleyfair rides reopen after flood woes

SHAKOPEE, Minn. (KMSP) -

Good news for Minnesota residents and visitors over the Fourth of July weekend -- Valleyfair has reopened two of the three rides that were forced to shut down amid flooding issues in Shakopee, Minn.

The park has officially reopened the Renegade and Excalibur rides, but Thunder Canyon remains closed. The park anticipates it will be up and running early next week. The parking lot is also open again

    A single-car, rollover crash at Interstate 694 and East River Road sent 5 people to the hospital Friday morning. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the 2015 Chevy Trailblazer rolled while exiting eastbound I-694 to River Road.
