Man Steals Laundry Detergent From East Falls Rite Aid

Philadelphia Police are looking for a man who robbed a Rite Aid in East Falls.

On June 22 at around 4:15pm, the unknown man entered the pharmacy located at 3601 Ridge Avenue and was observed placing a bottle of Tide laundry detergent inside a black bag.

When he attempted to leave the store without payment, an employee attempted to stop him. The suspect pushed her out of his way then fled the store through the parking lot.

A second employee then chased the suspect. The man turned and pulled a pocket knife threatening the employee.

Authorities describe the suspect as a black male, medium complexion, 30-40 years-of-age, 5'10", with a beard. He was wearing a blue and white button down checkered shirt, khaki cargo pants, white baseball hat with a "Polo" symbol, black back brace, and carrying a black shoulder bag.
