College Student Wins $10,000 For Living In Raft

Posted: Updated:

How far would you go to win $10,000? Could you live with three complete strangers? Better yet...could you do it in a raft?

That's exactly what's been happening at Six Flags Over Georgia's Hurricane Harbor. The $10,000 Hurricane Harbor Power Payoff began June 20th, with four strangers "living" in a raft on Calypso Bay Wave Pool (in the new Hurricane Harbor), and at night, sleeping in a raft on land. The person who lasted the longest got the big check. Well, there is a winner as of Monday, June 30th! Imani Bethel, a 19-year-old Georgia State University pre-nursing student, wanted to win the money to pay for school...and now she has.

Good Day Atlanta's Paul Milliken didn't want to live in a raft...but he visited Hurricane Harbor at Six Flags Over Georgia to chat with the winner -- click the video above to check it out!
