Former NFL Player Writing Songs To Keep Memories Of Daughters

Posted: Updated:

Former NFL tight end Ben Utecht suffered five concussions during his career.

Now at 33, he says he is experiencing memory loss.

Concerned that one day he may not be able to remember his wife or kids, he turned a letter he wrote to them into a song.

In addition to his work as a singer, Utecht has become a spokesman for organizations that study brain injuries.

He also recently participated in the White House Concussion Summit.

Utecht played for the Indianapolis Colts and Cincinnati Bengals during his career, winning a Superbowl with Indianapolis.
