Before the World Cup match up between the United States and Germany, a few astronauts in the international space station placed a small wager on the bet.
If the United States won, Americans Reid Wiseman and Steve Swanson would have been able to paint the flag on the head of German astronaut Alexander Gerst.
Instead, the United States lost 1-0 to the Germans, and Wiseman and Swanson got their heads shaved up in space.
The team used a set of clippers, as well as a vacuum cleaner to keep from hair floating around the space station.
Houston assured the astronauts it was more aerodynamic for them to be bald in space anyway!
