Video: Jet Pilot Lands On Stool After Landing Gear Malfunction

Posted: Updated:

A Marine Pilot makes a difficult landing in his Harrier Jumper Jet after realizing his nose landing gear was broken shortly after taking off.

Somebody on the aircraft carrier came up with the idea to place a large stool directly underneath the jet to prevent it from nose-diving into the ship's runway.

The pilot was able to ease the jet down onto the rear landing gears and the stool without issue, despite the fact that he could not see the stool while landing.
