Shooting Victim Found Buying Bandages At Walmart

TAYLORSVILLE, UT- Utah police were informed of a shooting after a gunshot victim heads to Walmart to pick up bandages.

Authorities say the victim and his friends were at Walmart buying first aid supplies for a gunshot wound around 4:30 a.m. Sunday morning.

The victims fled the scene after realizing police had been called, but police caught up with them down the road.

The victim says he was leaving a party on West Jordan Canal Road in Taylorsville when he was approached by several men in a white car.

One of the suspects fired several rounds at him following a short conversation.

Police are still looking to locate the crime scene, and those responsible for the shooting.

The victim was struck somewhere in his upper body and was taken to Jordan Valley hospital in fair condition.
