Manhunt, evacuations, surrender after Roseville, Minn. assault

ROSEVILLE, Minn. (KMSP) -

A man is in custody after allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, then leading police on a manhunt that forced evacuations at a Roseville, Minn. office building.

Khari Adams turned himself into police late Friday night.

Roseville police were called to the Resident Inn at about 11:30 .m. Friday after a family member said Adams was assaulting his girlfriend and was armed with a gun.

Police couldn't find Adams, but someone reported seeing him enter Symantec Software, where some 100 employees were evacuated while police searched the building. East Metro SWAT said they found no evidence he entered the building.

Before the assault, Adams was already wanted for other charges, including terroristic threats and assault.
