Highway 41 in Chaska closed from Minnesota River flooding

CHASKA, Minn. (KMSP) - Highway 41 in Chaska, Minn. was forced to shut down Monday due to flooding along the Minnesota River. The river is approaching a major flood stage and is expected to crest later this week, about two feet below record flood levels.

SHAKOPEE

The Highway 101 bridge in Shakopee, Minn. also remains closed. The Minnesota Department of Transportation has added an extra lane to Highway 169 to combat the traffic delays. There are now three lanes on the bridge over the Minnesota River from Shakopee into Bloomington.

BURNSVILLE

Northbound Interstate 35W will be reduced to one lane between Burnsville Parkway and Black Dog Road at 7 p.m. Monday. All lanes are expected to open by midnight tonight.

Highway 41 Minnesota River Crossing in Chaska

Highway 36 Stillwater Lift Bridge

Roads that remain restricted:

Northbound 169 restricted to one-lane south of Belle Plaine
