NORTHFIELD, Minn. (KMSP) -

The city of Northfield remains in a state of emergency with “all hands on deck” as a flooded Cannon River has the town looking like the sister city of Venice, Italy.

In a Thursday morning update, Northfield Mayor Dana Graham said there are no public health risks at this time, but anyone in need of emergency services should call 911.

“While in town to check out the 2014 Flood, check out our great restaurants and fabulous shops,” the Northfield Convention and Visitors Bureau wrote on Twitter.
