You may be thinking about investing in a swing set for your kids, or maybe you already have one sitting in your backyard. Chances are, you think this is a short-term piece of equipment to keep your kids entertained when they are little.

Fox 9 Fitness Expert Ali Holman from corecamper.com shows you how to use a swing set for a great workout at any age.

Ali visited Rainbow Play Systems of Minnesota showroom in Bloomington to show us just how many calories all ages can burn using a swing set as your piece of exercise equipment:

Swinging: 200 calories per hour  
Step up slide: 400 calories per hour
Monkey Bars: 350 calories per hour
Plank pulls on swing: 175 calories per hour
Rock wall climb: 300 calories per hour
