DETROIT (WJBK) - An emotional vigil was held Thursday night for the slain mother, Alicia Fox.

Family and friends gathered at Detroit Christian Schools of Excellence in what they called "a celebration of life."

Meanwhile, authorities are acting on a new tip and have moved the search for Fox's two missing children to the location where Erin Justice grew up. He is Fox's and father to 8-month-old Kristian Justice, one the children who is still missing. The other child still missing is 6-year-old Kaylah Hunter.

Erin is currently in custody in Atlanta, Ga. where he is fighting extradition to Michigan. Thursday Wayne Co. Prosecutor Kym Worthy charged Erin with first-degree murder in connection with Fox's death.

Fox was found shot to death in an abandoned home on Penrod Street Monday night.

Dozens of police officials gathered on Ohio Street in Detroit Thursday evening, searching with flashlights near the train tracks. Sources say Justice led investigators to that area. FOX 2's Andrea Isom reports he apparently told authorities if you search there you will find the children alive.

Authorities were also combing through a dumpster in the parking lot behind the Islamic Center of America in Dearborn. Fox 2 cameras were rolling as authorities laid out evidence from inside the dumpster on a blue tarp.

Sources close to the investigation says the articles belong to Fox.

Investigators also found Fox's burgundy Chevy Impala in a junkyard in Taylor Thursday afternoon. Her family says the car didn't even run.

A second person in Detroit has also been charged in connection with this case.

Prosecutors say Timothy Bernard Jones is alleged to have known that Justice killed Fox and assisted after the crime occurred. He has been charged with being an Accessory After the Fact to a Felony.
