The Bachelor Farmer takes local cuisine to a new level
The Bachelor Farmer in Minneapolis' North Loop takes gardening to a whole new level – literally. They grow many of their ingredients for the Scandinavian-inspired food on the roof!
The award-winning restaurant’s head chef Paul Berglund says when the ingredients are as local and pristine as they are, everything tastes that much better. The space has been maintained with its original historic charm.
The restaurant has been open for about three years, and Berglund says their rooftop garden has progressively gotten better and better after monitoring produce growth patterns -- what works, and what doesn’t.
