2 early morning shootings in Minneapolis, St. Paul

ST. PAUL, Minn. (KMSP) - Two separate shootings occurred overnight in the Twin Cities, and so far, no suspects are in custody.


Two people were shot near the intersection of Lawson and Western avenues around 12:30 a.m. Both victims were taken to Regions Hospital but are both expected to survive. Officers used police dogs and a helicopter to search for a gunman, but so far, no arrests have been made.


One man was shot in the arm and brought to an area hospital around 2 a.m. near 26th Street and 11th Avenue S. No suspects are in custody at this time.
