The 23rd Annual Komen Detroit Race For The Cure made the switch in anticipation of construction on the M-1 light rail project. Thousands of people took part including survivors and those battling breast cancer. As usual, the primary color in the crowd was pink.

The Komen Detroit race has raised more than $25 million for breast cancer research, education and treatment. The race is over, but you can still get involved in the cause. Click HERE for more information.
