Actor and acting coach Cameron Thor, 54, is still in jail facing a list of sex crimes after the Los Angeles Sheriff Department arrested and charged him for the kidnapping and rape of a 13-year-old girl.
Thor, perhaps best known for his appearance as Dodgson in the movie Jurassic Park, was arrested by the Los Angeles Sheriffs Department at his apartment in Canoga ParkTuesday on suspicion of kidnapping and is now facing 11 counts of sex crimes against him, according to Sergeant Al Garcia with the LASD.
Thor, seen here in an Amazon book review, has most recently been working as an acting coach with his wife and business partner Alice Carter in Studio City. The door out front reads "The Truth Lies Inside."
Deputy Guillermina Saldana with the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department tell us the alleged assault occurred over the course of a year starting in April of 2008 until March if 2009
The victim filed a police report in 2013.
"The victim consulted with suspect Thor about attending acting classes. After one of the consultations, the suspect drove her to a secluded area in Agoura Hills and sexually assaulted her. The victim was 13-years-old at the time of the sexual assault," Saldana said.
The case was presented to the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office on Wednesday. Deputy District Attorney filed multiple charges against Thor: eleven counts of a sex crime on a child under 14, one count each of kidnapping, robbery, rape and sexual penetration, and another count of rape or sexual penetration.
There is no information leading the LASD to believe there are more victims at this time.
Thor is being held on $2.6 million bail.
His movie credits also include "A Few Good Men" and "Hook."
