MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - One man is in custody after a Minneapolis man was pistol whipped, tied to a chair and robbed in his Dinkytown apartment in early May.

On May 2, Minneapolis police responded to the 300-block of 12th Avenue SE. The victim told police he was sleeping when someone knocked on his door at 7:30 a.m. When the victim answered the door, two men pushed him down on the floor and demanded his money.

At one point, one of the intruders pistol whipped him and said he'd shoot him if he didn't give up his money. The victim was then forced into the kitchen and tied to a chair with cords from the apartment. The intruders allegedly took an Xbox, iPhone 5, Mac Book Pro, two large wooden dice and $200 in cash.

The intruders called the victim by name and said, "We know where you live, what car you drive. If you call the cops we will come back and put a bullet in your head," according to the criminal complaint.

Malcolm Chan Johnson was arrested after latent finger prints taken from the scene were found to be a possible match. The victim told police he didn't know Johnson other than from the robbery.
