Neel Kashkari: I Want To Rebuild The Middle Class In California

Posted: Updated:
As of late Tuesday night, the race for Governor of California is set. Incumbent Jerry Brown against the man who joined us this morning, Neel Kashkari.

When people say he has no shot against Jerry Brown, Kashkari says "Unfortunately for the state, we're ranked 47th in American for jobs. We're 46th in education and #1 in poverty. I'm running for Governor because I want to rebuild the middle class of California. Governor Brown calls it the 'California Comeback' but most families that I meet with have no idea what he's talking about. So, I'm going to focus like a laser on the struggles of working families, those are the most important issues facing the state and those are the issues he has no answers for. That's how we're going to beat him."

  • Invest in water storage to feed our state and farms during the drought years.
  • Reign in the regulations so that small businesses can grow and compete around the world.
  • Bring manufacturing back to California through incentives and no state taxes for a decade.
