PHILADELPHIA -

A property manager’s alleged "victims" say he "promised" to find "tenants" and rent-out their properties all for a "fair" management fee.

Instead, they say, he took their money and ran.

It’s a story first reported by Jeff Cole and Fox 29 Investigates last fall.

Jeff Cole tracked "Brian Patrick to the Delaware Beach community of Selbyville.

The owner of the now "out-of-business" Affinity Property Management of Pottstown, Montgomery County wasn't much interested in talking.

However, his alleged victims were.

Tunisia Engram told Fox 29 she hired Patrick and Affinity to find a tenant for an apartment she owned in Philly.

Instead, she claimed, Patrick closed up shop and took-off with $24,000 of her money.

She wasn't alone other Affinity Clients said they too were owed thousands of dollars from Affinity, but Patrick had disappeared.

However, now Brian Patrick has been arrested by the Montgomery County detectives and charged with 41 counts of "theft and related charges."

Prosecutors alleged he owes clients about $30,000.

Patrick's attorney Henry Hilles says his client is "extremely remorseful", "takes responsibility" and plans to pay-back every single victim. When will he do it ? "Possibly by late August or September as the criminal case moves forward."
