Green Line light rail schedule released by Metro Transit

ST. PAUL, Minn. (KMSP) -

Metro Transit has released the light rail train schedule for the Green Line, which connects downtown Minneapolis, the University of Minnesota and downtown St. Paul.

The Green Line begins service on June 14.

GREEN LINE FACTS

- Trains will run every 10 minutes during peak travel periods

- 39 minutes between downtown St. Paul and downtown Minneapolis

- Connects with Blue Line at Metrodome Station

- $1.75 during off-peak hours / $2.25 during weekday rush (6 a.m. to 9 a.m., 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.)

TRAIN SAFETY WARNING: "They are real quiet. Anyone not aware of their surroundings -- it might be the end of the line for them."
