Mountain climber survives 70 foot fall

Posted: Updated:
A mountain climber falls deep into a snowy, icy crevasse while hiking the Himalayas.

Dr. John All of Kentucky fell 70 feet and got stuck.  He thought he was going to die, but he survived.

Despite breaking five ribs and dislocating his shoulder, he managed to get out his cell phone and get video of his dangerous situation.

It took him six hours to get out of the hole, using his pickaxe to climb out.

Now, he's healing in a hospital in Nepal for the next few week.  Then, he'll head to Peru for another climb.
