FULL "FLOWER" MOON Wednesday and Thursday Nights

It was nice to see the sun today and starting tonight we can see a nice full moon. The so called "Flower Moon" will shine brightly for the next several nights. Its called the flower moon because it is the first full moon to light up the spring flowers. Its a bit different here in the Upper Midwest, especially this year, as we barely have leaves to reflect the moonlight. Officially the moon became full Wednesday afternoon at 2:18 PM.


Enjoy the sky watching as we start to see come clearer skies in the forecast. Below is a chart of the moon phase for the rest of the month of May 2014.
