    As of 6 a.m., approximately 165,000 DTE Energy customers are out of electric service due to the high winds and lightning that hit southeast Michigan Sunday afternoon. DTE has restored power to 21,000 customers that were affected by the storm, which included wind gusts of up to 70 m.p.h. in the DTE service area.

A few showers will linger early this morning, but we're drying out quickly leaving the summer heat & humidity from the weekend behind. High temperatures struggle to hit 70 under mostly to partly cloudy skies with a NW wind 10-20 mph.
 
A chilly night ahead with temperatures slowly warming through the week and rain showers and possibly a storm (not severe) returning Tuesday afternoon.
 
Today: Spotty showers linger early. Mostly to partly cloudy. NW wind 10-20 mph. High 70.
 
Tonight: Partly cloudy. NW wind 5-10 mph. Low 54.
 
Tomorrow: Partly sunny. Scattered afternoon showers, possibly a storm. NW wind 5-15 mph. High 74.
