Weather Authority Alan Longstreet:

A dry morning with rain on the way. Temperatures are on the chilly side as well, settling into the 50s for most with a few of the cooler spots in the 40s.

Rain showers arrive this afternoon (spotty mid to late morning shower can't be ruled out) with isolated thunderstorms possible (pea size hail possible, not likely) and taper off late this evening/early tonight.

There will be another chance for afternoon showers Wednesday, but it's looking less likely than this afternoon.

Today: Partly to mostly cloudy. Afternoon showers likely. Thunder possible. NW wind 5-15 mph. High 73.

Tonight: Partly cloudy. Drying out early. NW wind 5-10 mph. Low 57.

Tomorrow: Partly sunny. Chance afternoon showers. High 76.
