PHOENIX (KSAZ) - A Phoenix man is accused of having nearly 600 images of child pornography on his computer and authorities say the children were in the age range of 10 years-old to as young as infants.

According to court documents, the Arizona Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force received eight cyber tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding a user uploading images depicting the sexual exploitation of minors to servers owned by a cloud storage company.

The uploads occurred on January 5 from an IP address that investigators tracked to a home located near 21st Avenue and Rose Garden Lane.

On May 1, a search warrant was executed and a laptop computer belonging to the suspect, identified as 18-year-old Cougar Blue Ybarra, was recovered.

Ybarra was arrested and later booked into the Maricopa County Jail.

Investigators say during their interview with Ybarra, he told them that while a juvenile, he met up with people on a chat room and they exposed him to child pornography. He also admitted to viewing the images of child pornography as recently as March.

The documents also state that the defendant admitted that he was in possession and aware of the described images, stated that he knew it was illegal and he felt guilty, so he attempted to delete the images. Ybarra admitted that he used the cloud storage, but was unaware he uploaded child pornography.

Ybarra is now facing serious charges -- 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
