CHICAGO (KMSP) -

FOX 9 Sports Director Jim Rich is in Chicago for the Minnesota Wild’s second round playoff series against the Blackhawks.

While touring the city and chatting with Chicago sports fans Friday morning, Jim ran into the ultimate Chicago sports fan. In fact, he may be the missing member of Bill Swerski’s Superfans.

Joe McCarthy was “born and raised on the northwest side of Chicago.” Here’s a couple memorable McCarthy quotes:

BLACKHAWKS STYLE: “When they wanna put two and two together, they can get four goals real quick.”

RECENT STANLEY CUPS: “When the plate is full you wanna keep filling it.”

THE BARTMAN GAME: “I was at Game 6 that night. The wind was blowing in that night. Mark Prior was on the mound starting. I noticed there were problems in the game leading up to Bartman – that poor Bartman, that poor kid. I wish Dusty would have played the managerial role a bit better. The whole Bartman thing got blown out of proportion. I still blame Alou for saying something. Go back to your position in left field.”
