Made in Michigan: Jewelry that makes an impression

Posted: Updated:
(WJBK) - Carrie Stanley makes keepsake jewelry that captures fingerprints of loved ones in silver.

Her business was inspired by her daughter, Leiryn, who was diagnosed with neuroblastoma.

With every purchase, money will go to the non-profit organization Imprints of the Heart, which provides keepsakes for families who are losing or have lost a child.

Currently, you can purchase Carrie's jewelry on her website under the name of Pixie Printz.

Carrie is also re-branding her name to Elle Bird and is trying to raise money on fundraising websites to build a store in the Canton, MI area.

Her goal is $30,000.
