Wow. What a story. Donald Sterling’s career is over, his time as an NBA owner is over, his private life has been exposed, he’s history. At 80, this billionaire , who’s owned the Clippers for more than 30 years and was poised for them to go deep into the playoffs, if not all the way to the league title, has been roasted and toasted by an alleged ‘mistress’’ courtesy of Harvey Levin and his TMZ empire which then unleashed a feeding frenzy impressive even by today's media circus standards. Again, Wow. Tomorrow, new league Commissioner Adam Silver is going to announce, in my opinion, a bare minimum of a year’s suspension and a 7 figure fine. It really doesn’t matter. Sterling has to sell the team. No one will want to play for him, no free agent will sign with him, Doc Rivers may not come back to coach for him. It’s over. Next. Magic ? You and the Chicago boys from Guggenheim that paid a zillion for the Dodgers, have em check with their bankers and scoop up all the loose change in the sofa and put in a mega-bid for the Clippers that makes everyone else thinking about it shy away. Then we’ll really have something to talk about. Until then we’ll keep trying to figure out this strange young lady now knows as ‘’V’’ Stiviano, who is 0nly 50 years younger than Donald. Their relationship is their business, until it isn’t. Now it’s apparently everyone’s business and from the fan on the street to the NAACP to numerous corporations now pulling their sponsorship from the Clippers to the league to players to coaches to other owners, Sterling, in many people’s view, will finally get what’ s coming to him.
