DETROIT, Mich. (WJBK) - The East English Village Neighborhood Association hosted a tour of 12 homes Sunday. They'll be auctioned off in May. The homes include colonials, tudors and cape cods ranging from 1,200 to 2,000 square feet.

Bidding for each house starts at $1000. People can bid online HERE.

Winning Bidders will be notified by email immediately following the auctions. Within three business days, they're required to pay a down payment of 10% of the winning bid. All sales are final. Within 30 days of closing, owners must provide the Land Bank an executed copy of a contract to rehab the home. Within 6 months of closing, winning bidders must provide the Land Bank with a Certificate of Occupancy for the house and demonstrate someone is living there.

Auctions begin May 5.
