Boy, 16, drowns in Plymouth, Minn. apartment pool

PLYMOUTH, Minn. (KMSP) -

A 16-year-old boy died Friday after being pulled, unresponsive, from an indoor swimming pool at an apartment complex in Plymouth, Minn has been identified. Benedict Richardson was pronounced dead at North Memorial Medical Center just after 8:00 p.m. Friday night.

Deputies responded to report of a possible drowning around 7 p.m. Friday at 15300 37th Ave. N -- the Plymouth Square at 37 apartments. First responders began CPR at the scene but were unable to revive him.
