Middle School Choir Welcomes Soldiers Home

Posted: Updated:
Clarksburg, MD- Returning troops got an unexpected surprise on Wednesday when they arrived home at BWI Airport in Clarksburg, MD.

The students from Rocky Hill Middle School, led by Choir Director Paul Heinemann, sang patriotic songs and gave high-fives as they arrived.

The students partnered with Operation Welcome Home Maryland, an organization that has welcomed home over 400,000 military personal since 2007.

The students truly warmed the hearts of the troops and family members at the airport waiting for them.
