Here's a story for all those high school boys who may be feeling a little "chicken" about asking a date to the prom.

KFC is offering a finger licking good way to get that special lady's attention. It's the chicken corsage, a fun way to maybe get a leg up on the competition.

Florist Nantz and Eddie Kraft teamed up with KFC to create 100 crispy corsages, but the corsages sold out so quickly, they're frying up another batch.

The promotion is local to Louisville, but, the florists say thanks to social media, they're shipping the corsages to customers all over the country.

"The one the other day was, I was too chicken to ask you in person. The other one was will this give me a leg up on the competition? will you go to prom with me," said Kraft.

The corsage is shown off in a YouTube video posted by KFC last week.

"Surprise your date with a chicken corsage that will make her eyes light up and her mouth water," the description says.

In the video, the young gal opens up her corsage box with eager eyes, but then seems a little hesitant accepting the corsage once she sees it's made of chicken. But, once she lifts it to her nose and smells it in true prom fashion, she's convinced and the happy couple heads to the dance. The two dance the night away and she has a late-night snack right there on her wrist ready to go.

If you'd like a chicken corsage, you better act fast. It's a limited promotion and is almost sold out.
