Litchfield home raided for stolen property sold online

At least 6 different police agencies raided a home in Litchfield, Minn. as part of an ongoing investigation into stolen property being sold through online auctions.

The bust led to two arrests, the seizure of K2 and marijuana and the recovery of multiple stolen items.

Search warrants were served at 115 North Marshall Ave. The multi-jurisdiction operation also involved Litchfield police, the Kandiyohi County sheriff’s department, Paynesville police, Belgrade police, the Wright County sheriff’s department and the CEE-VI Drug Task Force.

A 27-year-old man from Cosmos, Minn. and a 35-year-old woman from Pennock, Minn. were arrested. Both suspects are being held in the Meeker County Jail, awaiting formal charges for possession of stolen property and drug crimes.
