Burglary during funeral for man killed in Orono, Minn. crash

FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, Minn. (KMSP) -

A burglary was reported at a home in Franklin Township, just outside of Delano, Minn., while a widow attended the funeral of her husband who died in a car crash just days earlier.

According to the Wright County sheriff's office, the home on the 5000 block of 57th Street SE was broken into sometime between 10:30 a.m. and 2:25 p.m. Wednesday.

Anne Crowley discovered the burglary when she returned home from her husband Steven's funeral. Steven Crowley died in a head-on crash last Friday, April 11 on Highway 12 in Orono, Minn.

A possible suspect vehicle was described as an older Suburban-style SUV, charcoal gray in color. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Wright County sheriff's office at 763-682-1162.
