Lynx sign free agent guard White, send Sugar Rodgers to New York
The Minnesota Lynx announced Wednesday they have traded Sugar Rodgers to the New York Liberty in exchange for the right to swap third-round picks in the 2015 draft. The Lynx drafted Rodgers in the second round (14th overall) of the 2013 draft. She appeared in 28 games during her rookie season and averaged 1.9 points and 1.4 rebounds per game.
Minnesota also announced they have signed free agent guard Tan White. White, a 5-7 guard averaged 9.2 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.0 assists last season with Connecticut.
White was drafted by the Indiana Fever in the 2005 WNBA Draft. She spent her first four years with the Fever before spending the last five with the Sun.
