The pilot of a small plane acted fast to avoid disaster by crash landing his plane on a Georgia highway.
Police say the plane was flying out of Charleston and heading to Gainesville. According to authorities, the plane was carrying two dads and two boys, who were on their way back from a Boy Scout event.
The incident happened after the plane's engine lost power.
There were no injuries on the ground, and no injuries were reported on the plane.
Just as the aircraft began to have those engine issues, the pilot decided to make a quick landing, right on the 441 in Commerce.
"I am shocked that they actually landed it on 441," one witness said.
Another witness said that the landing looked good; there was barely even a scratch on the plane.
