MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) -

Two people are dead after a shooting Friday night on the 3000 block of 27th Avenue South in the Longfellow neighborhood of Minneapolis.

Police responded to the call around 9:30 p.m. and found a man and woman dead inside of a car parked in the lot of a building.

"We are working on leads developed at the scene," said Minneapolis police spokesman John Elder. "We do not believe this is a random incident."

Elder went on to say he did not know if there were multiple suspects and that the two died inside the vehicle. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner said Dahir Ahmed Abdirahman, 29, of Minneapolis died as a result of multiple gunshot wounds and Tahany Abdi Omar Erbob, 24, of Columbia Heights died from a gunshot wound.
