MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) -

Although the International Space Station is flying over us on a regular basis, it will be in an extra sweet spot Monday night. The ISS (International Space Station) will fly over the Twin Cities for a 5 minute window starting at 9:15 Monday night, April 7.

SLIDESHOW: View ISS photos submitted to Fox 9

The chances of a clear sky at that time are good and the weather will be mild, so go out an take a look to see if you can spot the darting speck of light.

Here are the coordinates for tonight's passing. Look towards the WEST/Southwest just above the horizon and follow it the EAST/Northeast. It will last 5 minutes from 9:15 PM to 9:20.

Mon Apr 7, 9:15 PM 5 min 83° 10 above WSW 26 above ENE

The International Space Station will be the the third brightest object in the sky. It will be easy to see if you know when to look up. The space station looks like a fast-moving plane in the sky, but it is dozens of times higher than any airplane and traveling thousands of miles an hour faster. It is bright enough that it can even be seen from the middle of a city!  If you don't spot it tonight, don't worry.

The ISS will flyover many more times and these websites will give you the times and dates. Good luck everyone.

Use these websites below to give you more specifics on when and where to look up.
