Ukrainian man arrested at MSP Airport for terroristic threats on flight

MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) -

A Ukrainian man was arrested late Thursday night at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, accused of making terroristic threats on a flight.

According to the police report, a passenger heard 34-year-old Ievgen Vladislavovich Chmil, of Kiev, make the threat during a flight and reported it to the crew.

Chmil was arrested by airport police at the gate and booked into the Hennepin County Jail.

The case is being handled by the FBI. Investigators wouldn't release what exactly the man said on the plane.
