NEW HOPE, Minn. (KMSP) -

Workers at the GameStop in Crystal, Minn. and Pizza Hut in New Hope, Minn. were tied up during a pair of armed robberies Friday morning.

New Hope police said the Pizza Hut at 7500 Bass Lake Road was robbed at 10 a.m. Friday, just 7 minutes before the GameStop robbery. The manager was inside, getting the store ready for the day, when two men entered, tied her up and forced her into the cooler.

Police said the suspects entered the businesses dressed as construction workers, including bright yellow reflective vests and hard hats.

Businesses in the area have received bulletins in just the past few weeks warning of these specific types of robberies.

Anyone with information is asked to call New Hope police at 763-531-5169.
